Volunteering at Beautiful Lives

BL volunteers are from all seasons of life – students, stay at home moms, working moms, professional women, and retirees. Many volunteers are earning community service hours for school and organizational or court requirements. In 2024, volunteers served over 11,530 hours at BL across the organization.

We love groups! Are you a member of a sports team, club, Bible study, women's ministry, or any other group? Volunteering at BL is a fun and fulfilling way to show that you believe that every woman should know that she is beautiful and worthy of dignity and hope. Let's make a life-changing impact together!

"I became a volunteer during covid because I needed to get out of the house and wanted to meet new people. I was also hoping that the staff could help me with my style. I have made so many good friends. We have laughed and cried together. I feel like this is my home away from home. They make me feel wanted and valued and appreciated. "I have volunteered at Beautiful Lives since its very beginning. Beautiful Lives graciously provides $50 gift certificates for the backpacks that Ladies of Grace provides for each resident when she is released from incarceration. Many of these women come in to shop the very day they are released. Getting to help these newly released women begin their journey on the outside with some beautiful clothes is one of the joys of volunteering at BL! We are able to encourage them, pray with them and send them on their way. Sometimes they even return to volunteer with us. Beautiful Lives is all about life change and I am privileged to be a part of that change."

Everyone there is full of such joy, that you can't help but smile.
